• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

American Motorist Association Y/N?

A question, doesn't everyone have roadside assistance thru their insurance. I pay $7-$10 a year for my 2 cars and $7-$9 for the bike.

I have AAA for all my cars motorcycle and RV. It is a little more expensive for me because the RV (I think its $110 a year might be wrong) buy definitely worth the price as I had 2 inner back tires pop on our way home from Florida in Georgia and they just found and sent a mobile tire repair service to us on the side of the highway. plus all the discounts and perks that come along with it are really nice.

yes but very minor coverage. Wouldn't be without Good Sam premier RV, which covers our Spyders. I encourage to read the fine print on your policy, if it meets your expectation than all is good. For me neither my insurance, BRP BEST or AMA give adequate roadside

Life member. Best thing a any rider can belong to. They have very little paid staff, so many times at events they are volunteers. I did a lot in the old days. always tried to be positive.
Many, many causes supported over the years, some as above. a huge one was the feds were going to ban all sport bikes and limit HP. One of the sport bikes was a regular HD74. Another was mandatory seat belts on motorcycles. then the goofiest one, a motorcycle that steered with the back wheel. Joan Claybrook(do not remember which bureaus she was head of)had to admit none of her staff could even ride it.
I would do it for all they do for all riders.

If you are Columbus, Ohio area, the AMA has a nice museum.
