• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sorry we missed the ride this year. Didn't get in until Wed 11 PM. We are heading out this morning in the cold and rain. Got caught in VT. Thurs. in some wicket weather rain and hail. We drove through and passed so many two wheelers pulled off and under anything they could find .

I couldn't believe the number of Spyders we seen this year and by the # of :spyder2: we seen I would say the RT is out paceing the RS .

Sorry we didn't hook up for a ride. Ron did a great job putting a couple rides together. Ron received sad news that his mother passed away while he was here. He is headed home today for her funeral tomorrow. We all felt his sorrow. Hope all Spyderlovers express their sorrow and keep him and his family in your prayers.

We are headed to Laconic bike week tomorrow. Hope we get some dry weather.

Decided to leave a day early because of the bad weather. Rode from Lake George in down poor rain for about 3 hours....The last half hour was dry.

Made it home fine...and Mark continued his way to VA.

I wanted to thank everyone for a great time. Was nice meeting and riding with everyone! :spyder::thumbup:

I'm glad you made it home safe. I think you might need a new rear tire already though. Alot of rubber was left on the road up here !!:roflblack::roflblack:

Is there anything Ron needs ??? Im very sad to here this news as well. Him and his wife are very nice people.

It happened in the middle of the week and no one would have blamed him for leaving. He said "Their is nothing i can do" so Ron and Robin stayed and from the smiles and laughter on their faces i'am sure they are glad they did. Buddy if you need you know the number.

Anybody that attended this year please send me pictures to my email thank you

Roger, just open the thumbnail on my pics above and right click your mouse. Then save them. It was fun tearing the twisties up with you. I'm sending you the bill for kicking up rocks without that rear fender on your
Spyder . :joke::joke::2thumbs:

Got home safe and sound. Just a quick note to Mark from my wife, now she wants an RT with that special mode on your Corbin seat. Looks as if this will be an expensive Americade. Why did I take the wife ?

When you go away on trips with great friends to meet other great friends you can not ask for anything better than that, great rides good food and tons of humor. For this i thank all of you and god for a wonderful time.:bowdown::bowdown:

I wanted to add my racing story. After a hardy breakfast myself, dave and his wife decided to wash our bikes so i finished mine and had to leave so i pulled up to the light and this young guy in a short bed chevy asked if i wanted to go till the next light i shrugged i guess so, So i left him their and we came up on construction on route 354 in glens falls we had to wait 1 lane traffic light so i got off the roadster and asked him "i thought you wanted to go" he said "i did" hmmm wonder if he is trading his truck for a spyder today?

We made it home just in time for it to rain. Shawn you should have waited till today to go home. The rain stopped real early so we left at 11:00 with no rain. :D

I want to thank everyone for the great time that my wife and I had. It was a blast hanging out with all of you all.

Hi Ron.... I was informed of your loss during our week at Americade. I am so sorry for your loss, and I want you to know you are in our prayers. Celebrate your moms life by all the many good memories you have stored in your memory bank!!! Tim and I had such a great time (this being our first time) and it wouldn't have been the same without you and Robin. You are in our thoughts....

Next years ride

For those of you that have asked what my plans are for next year ? Since last year we went to southern Vermont and this year we traveled New York's Adirondacks, I thought a trip to the north and a ferry crossing into Burlington, Vermont and hookup with Adrian there, as this is his neck of the woods. Then return to LG via Northern Vermont. Anyone else ?

It was great meeting everyone on the rides at Americade this year. Hats off to Ron for getting the ride to Whiteface Mtn. What a great group of Spyder friends in attendance. Next year I am going to have to bring my gas mask if I ride behind Shawn on his Spyder from all the black burn out smoke. LOL Here is the link to the pics I took from the week at Americade.
