• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Americade Lodging

Hi, can anyone tell me the best and least expensive hotel to book for Americade? Would prefer (I think) to be close to the action. First time I will be attending. thanks in advance.

 If you're this late to the party; its going to be tough to find anything in Town... :banghead:
Your best bet: check out by Bolton Landing; North of L.G.
And have fun!
It's actually better to NOT stay right in the middle of it. You have NO idea how much commotion all 60,000 bikes make at midnight! :gaah:

Do a Google search for Lake George- Official site, you will see different Tabs.

Click on the "Tabs for Lodging & Events, Click on the" Lodging Tab "you will see a list of the area lodging places. Then Click on " Events Tab" you will see Americade under the Events Tab.

Also look under "Americade 2016" for there home page. It does list demo's events, guided tours, etc.

Thanks for the responses. Just figured out I can stay in Saratoga Springs at a niece's house. It's only 40 minutes south of Lake George.

:D I was going to suggest Saratoga or Glen's Falls...
Close enough to the action; far enough for some peace and quiet.

Call the Lake George Inn @ 518.668.2673. It is within walking distance to where the action is at night. We have stayed there for 7 years.

Call Ray Wilson at the Nassau Motel in Lake George. Telephone 1-518-668-5356. Ray and his wife ryde Spyders, really nice people. Met them at Spyderquest. His web site is [email protected].
