• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i am planning a gropup ride for anyone who is interested at americade this year, ride will be on thursday and leave at 9am from stewarts in lake george next to the forum on rt9 and go up towards lake placid for some awesome bbq at "tail of the pup" bbq and then down thru the village of lake george and the mountains around town,

all are welcome to join in 2 or 3 wheels

will be a pretty good ride and probably take most of the day

Actually going to head out to RT 30 up to tupper lake and then over to lake placid and then down thru Keene to 87 south, but going to get off 87 at RT 8 and head down to RT 9n

A nice ice ride through the mountains with just a little highway mixed in
 
You already know that I am in. I was also going to suggest very little highway as possible. Hopefully you can get some others involved!
 
I would love to ride with you folks, but business Thursday morning prevents me. This is one of many SpyderQuest rides only we won't use Tail O the Pup anymore cause of a problem with the owner last year. Have fun, the food is good there.

:agree: Also, if you haven't already, give them a heads up that you are coming as a group. Leave plenty of time in your itinerary for the stop. With so many riders in the area, service will be very slow, guaranteed. This place remains a very popular tourist stop.
 
i will let them know when it gets closer to the ride and i get a better head count, so far i have 3 spyders and possibly 2 of my friends on 2 wheels
 
Sounds like a good one. Our plans are to meet up with a couple of buddies riding up from Long Island on Thursday morning and we may or may not make it up to you guys in time for 9AM. It could change by then and you never know !! ;)
 
The NY Spyder Riders will be announcing something special for Thursday evening during Americade and another reason I can't make the ride. So you guys doing this ride, don't waste any time and get back in town by 5:30 pm. Spydaman60 (Chuck) will be posting tonight the details.

Hubby and I will plan to join up and Ryde. Two Spyder family here. I will check back for updates.
 
Day late and dollar short but rumor has it there might be a few extra Spyders riding around Lake George during Americade. The Spyderquest committee will also be up there pre-riding our 2016 ride routes. Most of us will be staying at Moose Hillock Campground in Fort Ann NY. Thursday night we'd like to invite you folks to a burger and beverage blast at site 152 at the campground. Moose Hillock might try to charge you a guest fee, but if you just drive in like you know where you are going, past the guard house (which is generally unmanned) and bear left and continue up hill to corner site 152. There will be someone there directing you to another site for parking. Please put your name on here so we'll have a rough count if you think you will be joining us. We'd love to have you join us for some spyder good times!
 
Thanks for the invite, I am not sure what my schedule will allow but if I can I will absolutely stop in for a burger and a drink
