There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shame that, but surely it'll mean they start losing 'views & viewers' & that'll ultimately mean their income drops?! Or do they want to charge enough to cover the income reduction despite the fall in viewer numbers?!? Didn't they learn from what happened when photobucket tried doing much the same thing? Most people will look (& get to see the adverts) if it's free, but many will decide they don't really need to check out either if they hafta pay!! :sour:

OK, I'm not computer literate, but this is what I do and it seems to work. I have 2 browsers, Explorer and Orbit. I switch back in forth in hopes to confuse hackers. Orbit seems to work well for opening stuff I am comfortable with. When I do a search on the internet or am not sure what's coming in, I use Explorer. I always am able to open VIDS in Orbit but almost never able to see them in Explorer. Please keep in mind that I have no idea what I am talking about. Just that, for some reason, it works for me. Maybe someone who knows this stuff can enlighten.....?
