• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Already have separation anxiety...

I just brought in my RS today for the 600 mile service and told them I would pick it up next sat.

BAD IDEA. It finally hit 60 deg. Today and it was like every rider in the state was out celebrating spring. Driving home, I felt like it is going to be a long week.

I know how you feel. Dropped mine off Tuesday, after a 35 mile ride through the snow to the dealership. Figured it would be a good time. The end of the week Spring finally came (sorta). I really wanted to ride yesterday and today. They will probably call early next week...when it is expected to snow again. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. ;)

I don't drop my bike off for service... I arrange my appointment so that they know I'll be there when they turn the lights on in the morning.
I then pick and poke my way around the shop and showroom until they figure out that it's best to get my bike done and me out of there before I discover where they hide the donuts...
(But I already know that fact!)

Sometimes you have no choice. Mine had to have some mechanical work done.

Yes, I know I usually do my own, but this was warranty work, and at the request of BRP, since they want to study something.

Looks like you have been busy Farkling!

I must have a awesome dealer I just took my 2012 RT-S SE5 in for its 600 mile they did while I was standing there to watch an oil change ( glad I saw it wow taking all those panels off I may have never figured it out) including the wash after the service about 2.5 hrs. :yes:Even had a chance to take it and the wife out to dinner before it starts raining for the rest of the weekend:mad:.

Oh oh..!!

Never give them more time than they need..it's like telling them you have all the time in the world. Then you get shoved aside for some screaming meany whining and crying :cus: and moaning....I know I'm from a land were "manana" is a way of life..!!:roflblack:

I have always made a point to create a good relationship with my dealer. And like Bob I like hanging around while my baby is in surgery.

That's always dangerous though. Hard resisting the new rides!

Appointment?

Well my dealer does not really get the idea behind an appointment. Last summer I made an appointment for 8:00 am on a Tuesday morning. I dropped off the Spyder (2hr round trip). Called them late Thursday afternoon and was told they had not looked at it yet.
