• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the estimate of Spyders sold?
Last it was discussed, isn't it something like 80,000 Spyders ?
80,000 Spyders/16,000 Spyderlovers =5/lovers.
Roughly 80% of the Spyder owners are not members of this forum.

]It would be interesting to know if the forum software purges inactive members after a period of time, but I'd imagine not. My guess is that Old Spyderlovers NEVER die, they just ryde off into the sunset.

...which means, in theory, that technically it WOULD be possible to continue posting in the afterlife. (There MAY already be some members who are doing that.) :yikes:

If one peruses through the community list (members) you will see many members that are inactive a long time as well as many with 10 posts or less.

A decision to go through and purge would be a tough one to make. They are not hurting anything as is.
