• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I know this is not directly a DIY thread but it seemed the most appropriate place for it since it's accurate info not hearsay or opinion.

This is an old 2001 version, there are newer versions but I've been unable to locate one - they are essentially the same, just a little different in format.

Young folk get out your calculator...old folk better go find the slide rule...enjoy!

WOW ..... Fantastic info ( 1 hr. to read ) ...... However since it doesn't tell you how to find a tire with these properties. I don't see how it really helps anyone....... Mike :thumbup:

only problem with the article is it is for tires when driving on the left side of the road

:clap::clap::clap:

AND "tire" is spelled like we spell spyder. :joke::joke::joke:

So yes: the thread has been hijacked for a humorous pause. Sarchasm is the lowesrt form of humor---- but we do it so well.
