Alarm?

When we bought our RS the insurance company asked if it had an alarm. I told the woman yes---a hand granade wired to the throttle. Not funny she said! Does anyone have an alarm on their Spyder? If so what kind?

No alarms but the key lock system is a security interlock. I got a discount for a security system from my insurance agent.

The Spyder comes stock with an anti-theft system key system. However, I added a Scorpio I900 alarm system to keep the kiddies off. State Farm didn't give me any addtional discount for the alarm.

Yes, the security system should get you a discount from any good insurance company.

I have a Scorpio I-900 alarm. Same reason as Y-Ryder. I have State Farm and forgot to notify them. I will call them on Monday.

I have a Scorpio i600 installed on my Spyder primarily for the proximity chirp when parking in public lots to keep people off it- it amazes me how many people thinks it's ok to just get on it when sitting there.
