There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Airwave vs Air Ride rear shock air suspension systems

can anyone provide info on ether of these products. I cant find much on the Air wave system and I see mix reviews on the kewl metal air ride. :dontknow:

I have the kewlmetal one and it works as advertised i guess but i road from new york to myrtle beach sc 750 miles and i found that it was just way to stiff i have tried adjusting every way i could think of but i had my daughter send me down the stock setup and road back on that. kewlmetal was the only one available at that time so i can't speak of the other company only that it is less expensive?

Thanks for your info I think I'm starting to lean twords the Airwave system not only a better price but also decent reviews I have found else where.

That's what I've heard too- stiffer.

Handy for those switching from 1-up to 2-up riding a lot-- but otherwise I don't get the need for it.

I think the Kewlmetal allows more adjustment (dual chamber?) compared to the Airwave unit.

When you say stiff does that refer to the all around ride quality or the air ride shocks ability to absorb bumps??

And not to go off on a tangent but firefly how do you like your evo race intake. I'm also shopping around for an intake what made you go with evo over the kewl metal one.

Thanks everyone your reviews and opinions are helping me a lot

At the time the Evo was the only unit available--- and I don't think they're selling them any more.

I would probably go with the kewlmetal if given the choice again -- and might end up going that way someday.......but the Evo works just fine.

I had the Kewlmetal on my RS and I still have it on my 109 and because it has dampening control (air on both sides of the cylinder) it takes some getting use to for adjustment. once you get it right it works great but sometimes it's hard to find that sweat spot.
