Airbag problems...

had mine into shop 3 times for the air bag fix put kit in it ,last week they put some kind of insert in and think it was worse when getting it home .Checked it sitting in garage sitting empty ,put 70 lbs in at 6:20 pm , next morning at 8:20 checked it again had 29 lbs pressure ,called dealer again ,said he would get together with mechanic .I am going to fax your finding to them before calling again in the am.

too many issues ,blown engine at 1500 miles ,airbag issues thay cannot solve,had to replace all brake pads,all this at 5200 miles

airbag fitting...

Installed the replacement airbag fitting today, and re-assembled the RT. No leaks so far, so I'm ready to ride again. :2thumbs:

Just a note: They replaced the fitting and the airbag on mine, still didn't fix it. They finally traced it to the air valve/manifold and replaced that. It's held up but I'm begining to get some bounce until the motor is running. I need to check the air pressure to see if it's leaking down again. It's been way more trouble that is should be.

My RT is the a/c so I didn't have the pump system... just one more thing to introduce problems. I pumped mine up last night and went for a 40 mile ride this morning. When I returned home I checked the height, and it's holding pressure fine. It's amazing, in normal attitude now, I can see over the windscreen. hyea:
