• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have them on mine. Works great. In hot weather you can direct air on you. In cold or rain off you. The only bad thing and not too bad is that you have to take out bolt to check oil.

They'll put lots of air where you want it; but there's got to be a trade-off in aerodynamics! :yikes:

I have them on my 2013 RT Limited and have never had a "hot foot" problem like some of the 2013 owners have had. I had them installed at about 400 miles and have 9000 miles on it now. Hmmm... maybe they work . And they look good, too!

It only adds about two to three minutes (total) to checking the oil.
 
I have them to install on my 2014....hopefully tomorrow will get to it. I did have them on my 2008 GS and 2011 RSS and they worked great to either keep the cold air off you and on you depending on what you wanted.
 
Don't have the hotfoot issues with my 2012 RT. I added these after the 2012 SITA, where it rained none stop and there was little rain protection with the stock RT. These work great in the rain, they create a little air bubble while moving, the rain just gets pushed around your legs and lap.

Greeat in hot weather too, you can force air inwards to keep you cool then as the night falls and it get colder you just move them parallel and eventually out wards to push the cold air around you.

Didn't make a noticeable difference in mpg that I can tell, I got clear ones so there're not that obvious. Yes you have to remove one bolt to remove the panel to oil check but the added benefit is that there is no way your panels will ever fall off.

Downside, I'm not a great fan of looks, but the "function over form" wins hands down in this case.

I guess I dont get how they solve the heat problem, Which I do have.

Can someone post some better photos with regard to the lower one that fixes the heat?

Also how does this work at low speed because my problems are in traffic.

I have these and they make a big difference , riding in Rain, riding in cold/hot much better. After almost losing one I got a tube of clear silicone to stick the bottom on instead of the 2 sides tape that comes with it.;)
 
Fine print says you need the block off plate to get the 20 degrees.
So I am back to, what exactly does this thing do?

the block off plate accomplishes most of the heat reduction. Again, heat build up is primarily not enough air flow which is irrelevant at low speed.

I have come to the conclusion that 55 mph is the magic number to avoid excessive heat.
