Does anybody here know anything about Air Wave suspension for Spyders? I just noticed it while looking for something else, first time I've heard of them. Anybody?
john
I like the looks of it.

Great find! And the price is pretty good!
Is that the price Per dozen?
I only need one. :joke:
It's about 1/2 the price of the other air-shock option on the market.....nojoke
That is true but the one from kewlmetal does more not sure how to explain it but i know rnet has one and mine is shipping on monday. The shock extends from both ends the other one only raises or lowers the back of the bike to adjust for load.
Gotcha...... no 'low ryding' with this one then.....![]()

I think it was Crucified that posted in another thread that low ryding actually increases the belt tension drastically, as it stretches the back end out a little more.
Yup, but its actually the other way around....lowering the bike decreases the belt tension.
Thanks, I am glad you found this thread and were able to clear that up.
The Kewlmetal shock has air on both sides of the piston but there is only one rod that extends. In theory it allows you to have different air pressure on both sides of the piston to control rebound and dampening. The shock extends from both ends the other one only raises or lowers the back of the bike to adjust for load.
I'll let you know after I get some more time on itHow does Rnet like the ride on a daily basis...not the "cool" factor but actual ride quality?
Right on as usual. The Kewlmetal shock has air on both sides of the piston but there is only one rod that extends. In theory it allows you to have different air pressure on both sides of the piston to control rebound and dampening.

Hey, Lamont, is this good enough to get me that $20 you offered?
