• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Air Shock Troubleshooting

My air shock does not respond to changed settings using the electric switch on the dash. I can go from one bar to six bars and nothing changes. Pressure simply holds steady. However, I can make the compressor work by holding down that same switch. I can drive the pressure to well over 100 lbs (which is beyond the specified top bar pressure). And the only way to make it decrease is to release air through the valve. I've done these tests with the bike in neutral and parking brake off.

Does this sound like a switch problem, a sensor problem, etc.? Thoughts?

Sounds like the ride level sensor needs to be adjusted, installed upside down (yes, some dealers did so), or it may be bent. There is a service bulletin procedure that gives a new procedure for the adjustment and inspection. See your dealer.

Thanks, Scotty

Thanks very much. I'll run it by the dealer.

Read my thread "Rear air bag problems" about 5 or 6 threads below.

Read the thread. Even though I disconnected the link when changing the rear shock and before I started the work, I may still have done something to screw it up. Will need to reexamine.
