• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Air setting

Still looking for a good setting on my 14rts for riding two up. Can't find the difference between any of the settings.

I like one position down from the highest for all my riding. This is something you have to play around with to find what suits you best.

I have played around with that feature with and without a passenger and cannot detect any difference from one setting to another. Completely useless feature IMO. (Right up there with the stupid ECO mode)

Park on level ground about 30 ft away from & facing a wall one moonless night. Preferably somewhere really dark with no lights but the bike's shining on the wall. Then, with the bike running & your main lights on (hi or lo beam shouldn't matter much) play around with some different levels/pressures in the rear suspension. Doesn't matter too much if you've got 1 or 2 people aboard, but if the air pressure/height setting thingy is working then you WILL notice the difference it makes!!

If you try to think of it as a ride HEIGHT adjustment feature; it might sit better with you.;)
The ACS only monitors ride height, and uses air pressure to keep it at a constant level. We all know how putting a passenger in the pillion, can put our headlights at vastly different levels...
The effect that it has on ride quality, is more of an "unintended side-effect", and not the primary focus of the engineers who designed the bikes.

EDIT: This having been said: I often use my ACS to re-aim my headlights for optimum nighttime riding!
