• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Air leak?

Have a 2010 RT-S that sounds like a steam engine when it is releasing steam. It is most noticeable at low speeds and coming to stops. Does anyone have any idea where to begin the search. Also, I have the option for soft and hard ride and was thinking it may be from that.

It sounds to me like the ACS system is working correctly. It will increase or bleed air out if it senses that you are not level. Esoecially at slow sppeeds you will hear it and at stop lights if they are on an incline or decline. Hope this answere helps. Bruce

Sounds like the ACS air release solenoid. It is a normal sound, but should not happen frequently or excessively.

The only time I have heard my ACS hissing air is after a ride when my missus gets off and I am putting my RT in the garage. It makes a hissssss every few seconds until it has adjusted for the lesser weight. I have never heard it adjust for inclines or declines but that doesn't mean it doesn't do it, I'll be listening for it now, for sure.
