• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

AIR INTAKE VS EXHAUST.....................

I installed a JTS air filter on my 998 rt engine. Runs great.... the bike runs great with or without the muffler baffles. My question is what is better for the engine .... I like the more quiet sound with the baffles, but will do without if it is better for the engine....

As I see it...

Ideally the more air with least restriction going in and the least restriction going out after combustion is best. Now how much this will affect your ryde I would say is minimal. If you want quiet go for it.

Probably the best is as the system was engineered from the factory. Without an accurate dyno with a qualified operator it's all speculation. Most aftermarket stuff is designed to empty your wallet and and make your butt dyno think that noise is HP.
