• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Air Hoses?

My 2011 RT Ltd has been in the shop for a week. They discovered one air hose was broken apart and the other has a split which caused it to stall out at every red light or stop sign. Now they tell me that these Can Am hoses are back ordered till who knows when and they have to use 2011 specific hoses. It is going to be sunny and 75 this weekend and I am on my second weekend without my RT.:gaah: Does anyone know if there is another air hose out there that can work in my bike? Thanks! Anne

For sure

You know there are, unfortunately the dealer is bound by the oem parts and will not be responsible for after market parts especially internal. You could check other dealers and find some yourself overnight them and get back on the road... Good luck...

Which air hoses?
I'm sorry to hear that you're looking at a lost weekend... sux... :gaah:
If the dealer would give you the part #s; perhaps you could call around, As Chupaca said, and find someone who's willing to overnight them... :dontknow:

Air Hose problem

:ani29: Not knowing which hose and what area it resides in---good quality neoprene hose is available elsewhere from dealers but configuration, as in bends, flares, and such could make a difference as to ability to substitute generic materials. Often hoses on vehicles are formed with free flowing bends that can't be duplicated with straight stock hoses. Good luck!

If I am not mistaken, the problem is with vacuum hoses. Just any old hose won't do in that case, but I am not sure that a generic piece of vacuum hose wouldn't serve very well.

I cannot offer any specific advice on the hoses, but I am interested in the post since I also have a 2011 in the stable.

Please let us know when you get the problem solved. Thanks.
