• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Air Hawk seat pad

Anyone have experience with air hawk pads? I need a recommendation for
a good seat pad that will fit the seat on my 2015 F3S.
Thanks in advance

I have an Airhawk R while my wife just has the non-R Airhawk. They look very similar but the write-ups say the "R" is more male-part friendly.

They're better but not the last-word in comfort, IMO. I'm still looking at a seat rebuild to widen and raise it a bit. The seat guy says I may still want to use the Airhawk by the time he's done but time will tell.

You'll want the "large" in the "R" or the "medium" in the non-R model.

Try Mean City Cycle. They have a web page. They do good work and will make it like you want it.

I have the Air Hawk-R and I could not ride my Spyder without it. Without the Air Hawk, I get pains in my hips. With the Air Hawk I can pretty much ride all day without issue. I have discovered that it is more of the height off the seat that the Air Hawk gives me more than the cushion of the pad. The angle the regular seat height puts my legs causes the pain in my hips.

The only issue I have with the Air Hawk is the way it sits on the seat. The valve stem for the Air Hawk get pinched between the seat and me. I have already had one of the valve stems brake on me causing the Air Hawk to go flat. Air Hawk replaced it with no issues. Now I just keep an eye on the position of the Air Hawk so it won't happen again.

IMO: The Air Hawk does work well. Have hip issues and it sometimes makes the difference between completing a ride and not riding at all.

I have the Medium Cruiser version. That came out before the R version. The R version is supposed to be better.

The secret to using an Air Hawk is that you sit IN it and not ON it. You have to get the air adjusted just right for you. Once that is done, you are good to go.

Airhawk R Large

I have a brand new one in the box unused I would like to sell. $130.00 FREE Shipping! I will accept paypal.

I have an F3 just read the description on the R 14' x 14 1/2" measured my seat 14 1/2 will work on width but where does the extra 2" go in front to rear, don't want it up the rear would push me forward if in front it would be riding up the tank area ?

(Update) just found that they now make an R - Small 11' x 11"
Still interested to hear if anyone has it on the F3

I have the Airhawk R 14x14 1/2 on my 15 F3s and it does not interfere with tank. 11 x 11 is too small for driver's seat.

Base f3

Base f3 with an air hawk and love it. It works better on the f3 the the sts seat! Just put 900 miles on it and this weekend I will be returning home. Works great on the f3!
