• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Air Hawk seat didn't do it for me.

gkamer

Sadly passed away, December '23.
Having found the stock seat on my 2018 RTL to be less then comfy I thought I'd take a run at the Air Hawk Cruiser Large seat. Well after following the instructions to a tee, I found the seat to really be no better then the stock one I have. At least for me that is. So I'll be sending it back. I might give the Ultimate seat a closer examination to see if perhaps it doesn't fit my needs. But that is a pretty big cash lay out if it's doesn't work either. :(

Just a FYI...you should be inflating the Airhawk so that you sit IN it and not ON it. Partially inflated is the "sweet spot." Yours may vary. Keep letting a little air out until you find the "sweet spot." Way less expensive than a $500 plus aftermarket seat.

The Airhawk works by squeezing air out to the edges to provide under thigh support, Greg. Your backside should basically be touching the seat in the centre……and please accept my apologies if you have already tried this….it just an fyi.
P.s. the Airhawk didn’t do it for me, either.

When I first got my air hawk I had it way overinflated. Took most of the air out by trail and error. Works pretty good now. Just got to fiddle with it.

.

Both my wife and I have air hawk seat pads. They work just fine, so well that I take mine off to put on the poor, old, slow V-Max with a Corbin saddle. No monkey butt, but we are both ready to stretch our legs after 100 to 150 miles or so which is when I gas up anyways.

I have to mirror the comments about on having to much air is not good. This was the same for me, I had to let almost all the air out and then I found it to be very comfortable ! It seems like its flat when I put it on, but it is where it works best !

I hope you can stick with the Air Hawk, if you can't give serious consideration to either a Seth LLam seat or a russell daylong. Both are good seats, Seth's will be about half price of a Russell seat.

I just got mine today. Haven't tried it out yet.
I got the large with the USCG Emblem for my 22 F3s. I did not purchase a pillion pad.
