There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Air Bag

I have a 2019 RT Limited. I check the pressure in the air bag this morning. It had 34 lbs. of pressure. I put it up to 60 lbs. I rode about 150 miles and when I got home it had 35 lbs. in it. It evidently has a leak somewhere. Has anyone ever use tire sealant in the air bag. I know it is under warranty but I just hate to have a dealer mess with my bike.

hi gerald
the limited will self adjust depending on seat weight,so if it senses too much air pressure(bike sitting too high),it will exhaust until the correct ride height is resumed
i dont know if the pressure will show on your dash, but it all sounds normal to me

Thanks for the information I did not realize this. That makes sense I only weight 150 lbs. and 60 pounds is probably to much pressure for me. I will do some more checking.

Mr Gerald37,
I ride an 18 RTL and have exactly the same automatic air ride system you do. I replaced the spring on my rear shock and learned a lot about the system. The system consists (simplified) of the air pump, a bleeder valve, a feedback height sensor on the drive belt side about midway up the swingarm, whichever computer controls it, and the related air bag and tubing to hook it all in. The ride height is calibrated by putting the bike up on a specific length high block (simplified) and informing the computer (via BUDS) that that is maximum height, then repeating with a lower block for minimum height. The computer then does whatever it has to do to maintain the rear of the bike in the same relative position about midway between the 2 setpoints. Add a passenger- air bag inflates to 70-80 PSI to keep the rear properly spaced. When I added the heavier spring I found if you increase the preload and raise the rear of the bike more than about 1/2" from the original position you will get a "Suspension Fault" code which will go away when the bike comes back to more normal ride height.

I know, long winded, but it's an information sharing thing.

Thanks for the information. Very helpful.
