• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Aftermarket Swaybar

When purchasing the Baja Ron sway bar (2012 RT), is it necessary to purchase the aftermarket sway bar ends, or will the factory sway bar links work? Of course, I am assuming there is a sway bar on the RT, from the factory...

You can use the factory ones but the aftermarket ones are preferred. At one time the ends and bars were sold separately, I believe that if you buy the bar now it includes the end pieces, but i would check first.

Here's the thing....

your going to a heavier bar with a tighter performance so why not go with the stronger hiem joints..?? jmho. if they now are part of the kit change them and keep the oem ones. the oem ones are composite and the new ones are billet....

What was learned... was that the OEM plastic Heim links weren't up to the task, when a stiffer anti-Swaybar was attached. Ron decided to wisely make his new, much higher quality Heim links, available as part of the purchase.

sway bar comes with new links!!

I have seen it marketed both ways (with or w/o links), which is why I asked.

Gonna order one with the links....beats the heck out of trying to save a few bux, and then having a factory link break while out on the road somewhere.

Got out my sway bar before the billet ends came standard. Would have ordered them if I would have known. Rode all summer with no problems but have the new ends for it and will be put on next week.
