• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Aftermarket pipes... Owners with these, and full face helmets, how's the sound....?

..... I am considering a Bruce Fabrication exhaust. I know it is louder than the Hindle, and maybe as loud as a Micron, and some of the others.

I really like the $300 price of the Bruce Fabrication. If the Hindle was $300, that's what I would buy. But; at $500 ($629 retail), I have lost my enthusiasm for the Hindle.

At 60mph, and beyond; all I hear is the wind with the stock pipe. So; that's my concern. On longer rides wearing a full helmet, do exhausts like the Bruce, Micron, & Two Brothers (for example) begin to wear on you?

Thanks!

I've got the Micron and while you hear it I don't feel like the noise is enough to annoy me. I've done times where I run through a full tank of fuel without stopping and the noise has never gotten to me.

How about a Hindle new in box for $430.00 delivered...from dealer...PM me if interested...

Again, I paid $430 for mine...delivered...took 15 minutes to install...15 minutes to let engine run to get used to the new pipe...and then done!

I like the Hindle a lot...

the maker of burce fab is in cal. since i live in cal, the seller on ebay installed one for me for $260.00. it sounds deeper and a bit louder then the hindle. to me, performance is the same as stock, but the price was right for the louder, deeper tone i was looking for.

I had a Hindle and I took it off after a few months as I could still hear the exhaust at highway speeds with my full face helmet. I wanted to hear my music better so I went back to the stock exhaust. It wasn't annoyingly loud but I didn't want to have to crank my music up and blast my eardrums out on long highway trips. With any of the other, louder, aftermarket pipes, you'll definitely still be able to hear the exhaust when riding at 60+MPH. It may or may not be too much for you over time. Only you can be the judge of that.

I have the 2bros polished single slip on - went on a long ride yesterday - with alot of twisties and alot of highway driving. I love the sound of this pipe! I put in the P1 tip and that quieted it down esp. on the freeway - not to loud - just a great deep sound.
Several people have commented on how good it sounds. :2thumbs:

I just got a full face helmet (trying to get used to wearing one) and I can hear my 2 Bros pipes just fine. I know, the stock pipe sounds like a sewing machine.

If you want it for $430.00 delivered, lemme know...I have a good contact at a Spyder dealership who will get it to you for that...PM me..
