Aftermarket Fog Light Issues bike dies

Recently purchased another spyder to add to my collection, and this unit already had fog lights installed. When on, they work great, but what I have noticed is that IF I turn them on/off while the bike is running only, then the bike will shut off as I come to a stop. The bike will restart. I can turn them on/off when bike is idling, and that is fine, it's just when I do it at speed.

Lights are Xentec 6000k, dealer installed.
Any ideas?

Sounds as though there is some ballasts interference with the Can Bus system on your bike.

Spyder's are very sensitive to this kind of thing and it can drive you nuts until you get just the right type of ballasts that "plays nice" with your Spyder.

I have the BRP stock foglights and have never had any problem like that. Do you have HID fog lights? If so, Majic Man is probably right. If you just have the stock fog lights something is not right.

The Xentec 6000k are HID's...... sure sounds like a ballast doing some voodoo....check where the ballasts are mounted and move them somewhere else-- sometimes if they touch the frame it can cause problems------

I've got HID's all around (Head and fogs) and don't have any problems.
