• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Aftermarket exhausts for RT

Just curious to see what aftermarket exhausts are available for the RT. We'll be owners of a new 2012 RT-S soon and gotta start thinking about making it sound mean.

I know there is a Two Brothers pipe available, but is there anything else??

Spydergirl, I have the TB on the RT so you will be able to listen to it in Willits or anytime we are at the event. I'm hopeful that I will have the TB juicy box also install by the time we get to the event. I like the sound - not to loud but a very nice deep tone and will get louder as time goes by.:2thumbs:

I am quite familiar with the sound of a TB exhaust... I have had several, one on my Ninja 250 and on a Spyder RS. I was looking for other options such as the HMF that I currently have on my 2008 GS. So I guess the answer is that there are no other options other than the Two Brothers. :dontknow:

I have the 2-Bros pipe on my 2010 RT, but after 4k miles it began to get louder so I added a "P1" Tip to it. This has brought it back to a more mellow level, and doesnt attract quite as much attention!

The TB does not sound anything like it does on a 250... Because of the Vtwin engine it has a deeper tone to it.

Additionally, the reason why these mufflers get louder with use is the packing inside of it is now worn out or gone. As the instructions say that are on their website (And frankly most other after market off-road mufflers, as stated on the muffler itself and the product description. These are for off-road use only) and paperwork that comes with the Muffler, the packing material is to be replaced (Link)
