Aftermarket Exhaust Question

I'm trying to put on a Micron pipe. I have done exactly what the directions state but I cannot get the band clamp to come together at the foot-peg bracket. I'm either doing something wrong or the band clamp is too small. Any suggestions?:helpsmilie:

Are you using the stock clamp or one that came with the Micron?

Shouldn't be that much of a problem. I had a Micron for awhile and don't remember having too much difficulty putting the clamp on.

I'm wondering if somehow you ended up with the wrong clamp.

But if the clamp has been egged out it won't sit on the pipe right until you get it tightened up.

In this case the silicone/pliers squeeze suggestion should do the trick.

That's because I put it on.

The clamp will have a space in between the two holes. I'm not sure why they did it like that but they did. I wound up putting a fat washer in between the two half's.
