• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After market seat comparison

One of the options I was looking at is to keep the stock backrest and move the drive section back 2inches.....I may have to buy a comfort seat and send it to Russell day long...

I moved back about 1.250 inches and use the backrest as is. The way the backrest tilts it works. I would try carving the the seat before you buy the comfort seat...nothing to loose if youare buying a new seat anyway. Taking the seat off can be a headache if you dont have the right tool. I bour a right angle drill driver and this made it very easy.

Okay I have the stock seat with a stock back rest you saying that there is enough room to move back another inch and a quarter and keep the back rest... okay if that possible ill try it.....

Hi guys one more question before I make up my mind on a seat. How many of you have tried the mustang seat on a RT

Yes 1.25 inch easy. I have the triaxis bars all the way back after this mod. I am 5'11' tall with 33 inch arms.

Thopper at times I wish I was as short as you. 6ft 6inches tall with a 36inseem the cam am was not built for guys my size. so making it work can be a very expensive task if you don't get it right . Just got off the phone with a mustang seat tech and much to my dismay there seats will not move you back any further then stock. there seats are 3/8s of and inch lower.....so that option is out.....

The oem unit does tilt. The issue the oem is if you use a different seat the pan will not have the cut outs for the mounting brackets for the seat or the hole for the shaft of the back rest itself.....this is dring me to drink....i think ill have a beer...
