• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Advice on Mounting Vredestein Q5 front tires.

I remember seeing a post a year or two ago concerning the mounting of the Q5 front tires that helped to have the water spray from the tires to be directed to the outside of the trike instead of towards the inside under the spyder. There was something about the blue line on the tires being mounted on inside towards the spyder or on the outside away from the spyder.
Would appreciate help on finding the thread or advice on if there is something I should have done when having the tires mounted.

The Q5s have "outside" and "inside" written on the tires. I would expect the best bet is to mount them that way.

Can't help with that specific post .... however my Q-5's have " inner side" embossed on the sidewall .... which indicates the " Blue line " is to the outside .... also there arn't any " directional arrows on the sidewall ..... good luck .... Mike

Gary, I think this is the thread you are thinking about. You are going to like them. Have them front and rear on mine and have settled on 18 PSI all the way around.
