• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need some advice. I want to move to a shorty helmet with pull down visor. I have researched the web and came up with the Scorpion EXO 100 Half Helmet w/ Visor which seems to fit what I am wanting however I also want to be able to use the Cardo Scala Rider Multiset Q2 Bike-to-Bike Bluetooth Motorcycle Intercom Communicator which from what I have found on the web says it will work in a full or 3/4 helmet. Has anyone used the scala with a half helmet? or is there another helmet or communication system that I should be looking at? Any and all thoughts, recomendations, and experiences would be appreciated.

Dunno about all the hookups you can do or not - but I just got one of those helmets and I love it!

I second that...

I also just picked up a set of those helmets for me and the wife. They are great!!! Not sure if they will work with the Q2 or not, but the helmet is top notch.

If you get the Scala, be sure to test it with background noise, such as wind or engine noise. We couldn't get the intercom to work in the living room and, when I returned it to the dealer, it would not work in the showroom, either. All the indicator LEDs were showing correct function, but no sound. Later, I found out that if the unit does not "hear" background noise, it shuts itself off to conserve battery power. I found that out on the internet, there was no mention of it in the packaged directions.

Just installed the Q2

I just finished installing the Q2 into my Scorpion 100 helmets and the install was very easy with one catch.

- I had to use the tape backed mounts because the clamp style mounts would not fit.

One surprise I did find was that the helmet had built in speaker pockets, which worked perfect with the system.

The road test will be in a day or two.

One other note: I placed the other set in my Scorpion 1000 without issue.
