• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Adjustable brake rod

Hi all.

Since I bought the SF3, I could never get on with the position of the brake pedal so I've had an adjuster put in the middle to give some adjustment, what do yo think?

Just need to get it powder coated black and thats it.

I can't take the credit for this though, it was my mate Phil who is in his 60'2 and incrediblt gifted.

Well done..!!

that should give you a range of motion. See many complaining about the pedal position. Especially when putting on floorboards...:2thumbs: congrats..!!

Brakerod

Very nice mod.... I'm 6'2" and have my UFit set to the #5 position. I've found that the most comfortable riding position for me is to keep my knees in close to the gas tank. I like to rest my feet on the frame rail when I ride. The regular position for the brake pedal sucks so I had mine modified by a local metal fabrication shop. I rocked the pedal forward slightly and out 4 inches so I can rest my foot on the framerail and simply turn my foot outward slightly to use the brakes. It works great for me and it's a whole hell of a lot more comfortable.

How about a picture of where the brake pedal is now? Please!

:D GREAT solution!!! :firstplace: :2thumbs:
If you start making these; you'd better be prepared to make them for ALL of the Spyders: I'm waiting for one that'll fit my 2014 RT!

Let's make em!

No problem.

I spoke to my mate and if you are prepared to send them to us, he'll do a brake rod mod like this for £50.00.

Hows that?
