• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HowTo: Adjust Side Bag Latch

I'm going in for my 3000 miles checkup. I'm going to have the shop adjust my side bag latch, but I read several posting of people asking how to adjust the latch cable. I have not done it but I know the cable is like Bike brake cable adjustment. I watched a Revzilla video on how to add reflective lights on side bag. In that video I saw the latch adjustment for the cable just behind the latch handle.

I hope this help people understand how to locate and adjust the cable

Thanks for the link to disassemble the tail! Will come in handy when I get to the back end farkling.

I found the bulletin.. and basic heading and description but no detail. Where can you get the detail of what the TSB consists of? link?

I just checked, you have access to the cable adjustment from under the bag. Fixed mine in 2 minutes. My cable was set to long, I just adjusted the length from under the bag .. just look up, loosen the locking nut and turn and test and turn until it works. Interesting fact if you bag is locked and you didn't have your key, did you know you can open the bag by pulling the cable latch by reaching up behind the latch. Interesting the locked side bag could be a place for a spare key
