• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Adjust headlights

I read the manual on adjusting the headlights, which seems simple enough.
I have 2 actually 3 questions
1) how far from the wall?
2) To let the air out do I just press the pop-it valve or do I take it out?
3) Do I have to air it up or does the compressor come on to air it up?
4) Is there a compressor?
OK so it was 4 questions

Thanks in advance
Stefan

It looks like they want the Spyder 33' from the wall. And yes, you let the air out with the Schrader valve under the seat. If you have a base RT you will need a compressor to refill the air bag. If you have an RTS or RT LImited you have an onboard compressor, the base RT does not have one.

If that didn't confuse you... this ought to finish the job! :D

Assumptions:
Spyder RT Headlight Height: 35.0" (This could change with a heavier/lighter driver/passenger, cargo load, tire pressure, performance
shocks, etc.)
BRP Spec for Headlight Adjustment: Adjust for a low beam height of 25.3" to 28.8" (27.1" halfway point) at 33' with a 200 lb driver.
Calculated Angle: 1.15° downward

Angle Distance Low Beam Height Adjustment
1.15° 33' 25.3" - 28.8"
1.15° 30' 26.0" - 29.5"
1.15° 25' 27.2" - 30.7"
1.15° 20' 28.4" - 31.9"
1.15° 15' 29.6" - 33.1"
1.15° 10' 30.8" - 34.3"

Turn the knob clockwise to raise the beam and counterclockwise to lower it.

adjusted the lights tonight, boy were they off.
I didn't think my compressor was working.
I couldn't feel any air from the shrader after I finished and it didn't seem to raise the back.
I took a ride and all is good again at least for now
Stefan
