• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Adding lights

I just bought two 12 inch LED light strips to add to the front of the mirrors as additional blinker lights. My question is does it make a difference what wire I tap into. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

Remove the mirror. Hook the wire from the LED strip up to the two wires coming out of the mirror at the connector. Black wire is ground and the yellow wire withe the black strip is the +12 vdc. Assuming your LED strip wiring is black and red. Black goes to black and red goes to yellow/black.

Great thanks. I was hoping it was that simple.

Installed

Was able to install the lights today and they work!!!! Just some additional front lights so people can tell I am turning.

Hello
I think I used a flat screwdriver to work them enough to release. I am currently heading into Vegas tomorrow on our way to Spyderfest - coming form Beaverton Oregon. We are hopeful the high winds that closed I-40 Tuesday are gone by the time we get tp Flagstaff! Have certainly had our share of high wind, heavy rain, heavy snow and lots of hail so far. Been a very interesting day!
