• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Adding heated grips?

absolutely

Others have done the work themselves (do a search and you can read more details). We added the cruise control ourselves to my husband's F3 but decided to let the dealership add the heated grips.

HEATED GRIPS

..........OEM are going to cost you $$$...........but there are ways of doing it with after-market types that will work just as well or better......check DENNISKIRK.COM -- in the snowmobile catalog......lots of choices....Mike

OK, good it can be done. I just looked at the Can Am site and they want $220. I am sure the dealership will change more than that to install it, so are there instructions on how to do it yourself?

The heated grips from BRP come with instructions. All of the connectors were included. You will need to dismantel the top housings. I kept the instructions. The only problem I had was knowing how to get the spring in place on the right side grip.
