• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Adding Floorboards

Does anyone know if you have your foot pegs, shifter and brake in the #4 position, can you add the floorboards behind them? Or do you have to remove the pegs and replace with the boards?

If you are using the BRP floorboards they install in place of the foot pegs, and use the foot peg mounts regardless of the position #.

I was lucky enough to get some BRP F3 driver floorboards for 200.00 but have not installed them yet. Tried but could not break the locktite hold on the screws that hold the pegs. Will try again when I have a free weekend.

I have the web-boards on my f3. you simply pull the pads off and replace with the web-boards. as someone said previously, it can be in 3, 4, or 5th position!:2thumbs:

To install the Web Boards all that is required is to remove the rubber pad from the foot peg and install the Web Boards, less than 30 minutes. You Do Not remove the peg.

I think most of these responses are talking about "web board" these are different then the BRP floorboards, not sure which one you have questions about.

to have the benefit of keeping the
PEGS and also having FLOOR BORDZ, i think you'll need 2 do what i did... DYI your own......
it's truly the best of both worlds.... i have just about unlimited foot movement... i did a 6054 miles ride earlier this year, and without my
DYI Floor Bordz, i can say that the ride would NOT been as comfortable.... so get creative, and build some for yourself...
not only are they
FLOOR BORDZ, but also act as SPLASH GUARDS and keep my 95% drier than without these... see pix below....

I am looking more to ADD floor boards behind the foot peg. I would like to keep the pegs and then have a board to rest foot flat on occasion. Looks like I may have to get creative as Dan suggested. I was hoping for a bolt on solution though.

You are on to something here.

Can you make more of these? This is a great idea putting together the best of both worlds.

Made custom floorboards for my wife's F3

I decided that I wanted to surprise her with some personalized boards.
She wanted something not too big but comfortable. Here is what I did.
Figured out a nice easy shape and cut it out myself using 1/4" aluminum.
Sent them to a guy around here that has a Flowjet to have the words cut out.
I would have got him to do it all but it was a lot more expensive because of the set up.
I then sent them for powder coating. End result, she loves them.
I did leave them pretty flat, but curved them a bit at the bottom, because that is what she wanted.
I also put a lip on the bottom, so her boots would not slip off.

Floor board pads replacing existing rubber.

I have installed the slip on cushion hand grips & it make a big difference in reducing the feeling of the 3300--4200 vibration that appears to be common on most 1330 engine Spyders.

Does anyone "mfg" sell a padded floorboard insert

panel that could reduce the same vibration ?

Correct Tazzel----I am looking for a material to absorb vibration on the existing floor board rubber insert. I want to keep the full size floor boards on my F3's ---- just looking for a better material to absorb vibration.

Are you referring to the pegs or actual floor boards & how did this reduce the vibration in the 3000-4000 rpm range??
