• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Coolant check

Sounds a lot like how my '11 access is. So now if I ever trade up, I'll know how to check coolant without having to look in that pesky owners manual.

Coolant leak

As long as we are talking coolant...I note after very short ride, like from the garage into the trailer, there is a wet spot/leak under the bike. Nothing after a 200+ mile ride. Return to dealer who told me they couldn't find anything. Suggested the bike 'burped' the coolant. Frustrating it is with the 15 RTS SS 1330.:banghead: Just wondering if anyone else has experienced such a leak and if so what was the cause? Thanks

i suppose if it blows, the dealer has it on record and BRP will make good. (Let's hope)

Subtle leak on my rts 2014

Have been noticing the sweet smell of antifreeze the past few rides and spotted some drops along the right side a arm the other day when I got home. So I checked today when it was cold and I was down about a pint. So I topped off and it will be added to the list of repairs for the dealer this spring, prior to the spyderfest trip.

My spell check will not allow me to spell C O L L A N T? I have to do it this way. How could that happen? I guess I have a lot to learn eh Joe. :joke:

checking anti freeze

Along with the less than ideal location, it is also very difficult to see the level of coolant in the reservoir. I think mine is a little bit low, but will need to get the angled inspection mirror out to see if I can look down onto the tank. To tough to tell by looking through the plastic to get an accurate level

I have a large light that I keep in my trunk that can be connected to my 9 volt cigarette lighter. I place this behind the wheel and shine it on the tank. For filling the tank, I use a turkey injector. It works for me. I also have a Stanley 450 volt battery jumper that has a 9 volt plug in it. I plug the light into the adapter. The stanley battery jumper also has an air pump that I use to inflate the tires.
