• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Added that 3rd wheel to the M/C

Yep it was time. Have always liked the Spyder :f_spider: since it came out. Last 2 yrs just search once in a while for models, price, and info and dream.
Was on my radar to buy one next year when house payment was done , but talked my wife into using her pain and suffering money she just got from an accident to buy one a year early. Was looking for a new 2016 RT manual clutch to keep cost down. Went to a dealer to get up close and personable with the real thing. Signed up for the next Saturday for test ride, later that night while searching came across a used 2015 RT Ltd with only 240 miles!! Sent an email that night asking "was it a demo or in an accident". No one monitors the website or their Cycletraders ads over weekend. Monday dealership is closed, so I work 3rd shift nearby, so went there 9AM Tuesday. Looked at it and bought it. This is the story I got.............

We sold the RT last year to a man "with too much money". He only put 240 miles on it, and bought a 300 HP jet ski and same time to use on a lake where only trolling motors are allowed on boats." This year he was moving to California and sold it back to us.

GOOD for ME!! Got a great deal on it. Bought an extended warranty on it for 4 yrs. I have been riding motorcycles since mini bikes, minus a few years with children growing up. Currently have a Honda NT700V, that is the workhorse for average 31,000 miles a year, mostly traveling back and forth to work. Previous bikes before that was 2 Honda PC 800's for 224,000 miles in 11.5 yrs. So this a RT is a luxury purchase for me, never had anything bigger than 800cc, that's where I told the wife, hey,, you will have to most comfortable ride yet!!
Now summer trip to Maine, Bay of Fundy, NH,VT will be done on the SPYDER!! not NT

Welcome to Spyderlovers, congrats on the new Spyder and GREAT Avatar shot, you look happy and relaxed.

Congrats! Check out triangle spyders on facebook. We do a lot of riding in this area. I am hoping to plan a day trip to the BRP once it gets a little warmer. Going to Gatlinburg with 2 other couples toward the end of april.
