• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Acetone anyone?

Google has 25,800 articles on Acetone and Gas Mileage, Acetone supposedly changes the surface tension of gas and creates better vaporization, resulting in a more slower and complete burn of fuel, plenty of Pro's and con's

FYI: Givi lists a dedicated Monokey tailrack for the Spyder on their website, but they haven't started shipping yet. Supposedly tail end of January/early Feb. It WILL require drilling the existing tailpiece to mount. Not pictured yet on the site, but if they offer it, you can BET it will be solid and look good!

I knew about that. But drilling into the tail fairing isn't appealing to me. And even if I want to, the piece is no longer there and replaced by BRP's sport rack. IMO ... very few who pay a lot of $$$ is willing to drill into any part of body panels for an after market add-on. Bolt on (reversable) and simplcity is the way to go.

You just think gasoline is explosive and a health hazard. Acetone is like that only on steroids. :yikes: The only place acetone is safe to use is under a fume hood, with lots of protective gear on to prevent skin contact. But I am sure there are other opinions.

:agree:

As far as i know, the only way to get an increase in octane is the press one of the OTHER buttons on the fuel pump. Especially the one labeled "Permium".

:D

It is also the main ingredient in nail polish remover. Now you have to get a fume hood for your wife - LOL :dontknow:
