• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Accident

Sorry to hear about your accident. Make sure that the frame is not damaged. About the ability to quickly swerve on a Spyder, your front shocks must be set at the stiffer position and/or upgrade your sway bar.

That's not really fair...you could have the best equipment on the planet and the fastest reflexes and it won't make a difference sometimes...

I know it won't help in every scenario, but I certainly agree with Doc that it sure won't hurt either. nojoke That fact that you can get positive reaction from your input instead of that useless dive and roll is huge in an accute situation. Wouldn't have mine any other way.

99.99 percent of all accidents are preventable by both parties, driving safely, defensively and to road conditions are NUMBER 1. All drivers should have to re-test every so often and take defensive driving as well as accident avoidance. Just think what this would/could do with respect to injuries/deaths/insurance claims. JUST MY HMO

Sorry about your accident. Glad you are OK for the most part. Get healed up and get that Spyder back on the road.

It is a jungle out there on the roads. People are inconsiderate, some are crazy and others just plain stupid.

A couple of weeks ago on US131 while heading north to go snowmobiling, I get caught in the right lane behind a guy going way to slow. When I finally get in the passing lane to go around (and that's hard to do pulling a trailer when it's bumper to bumper) and get up beside him, my daughter looks down at him and he's texting. Unbelievable, that guy falls under the just plain stupid category.

In crash reconstruction circles, we don't call them accidents, we call them crashes...

This is due to exactly what you are saying...if it's preventable, is it really an accident?
