Accessories for the 2016 line up

I know the Spyder line up for 2016 is due to be announced in a few hours time
When do BRP release details of their accessories for those and existing Spyders models for the 2016 season

If I remember correctly the accessories catalog comes out right away after the new model are announced.

The accessories will be released tonight too. Lamont should be posting pictures of the spyders with some new accessories on them.
Not sure what happens in Europe but when my dealer returns from CLUB BRP he will have new 2016 accessory information with him.

The issue isn't when the accessories are announced, it's when BRP decides to make them available. In my case they announced the Tri-Axis handlebar mount for the Zumo 590 in Sept. '14 but it wasn't available until early Apr, '15. The 590 itself wasn't available until Dec, '14. Lousy end item support planning IMO.

2016 RT Adjustable Driver's Backrest

On the Can am Spyder Build-it website, they list a driver's adjustable backrest ($449) AND a retrofit upgrade driver's backrest bracket for the 2014/15 non-adjustable driver's backrest ($79).

It will be interesting to see how the accessories pan out this year. Last year, with introduction of the F3, accessories for packages took months to be delivered for some.

Let's hope this problem/glitch has been solved.

Not an across the board problem, but bad enough to make a lot of people protest loudly.

Accessories 2016

UK BRP website still showing 2015 accessories catalogue and not the 2016 one. I can see the US site has been updated to show 2016 catalogue. I will ring dealer to find out when UK 2016 accessories online catalogue will be available. When I have access to updated catalogue, I can put my order in for F3-T. In the meantime I will look at US updated accessories to get an idea of what is available

Can the trailer hitch for the '16 F-3 be retrofitted to the '15 F-3 ?

I'm just hoping my wish is granted and they start offering a heated seat for the RT other than the comfort seat. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like a heated seat without having to switch to the comfort seat. I'm not holding my breath, but one can at least hope.ray:
