• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

All those "things" we have that require AA Batteries?....here is a great economical way to get those AA batteries....buy a 6 volt lantern battery....open it up...guess what? it is filled with AA Batteries!!! :yikes: Ahhhh $ saved..funneled into Spyder account!!!

But I do have a question...
How do the costs of the batteries compare? ( I use a lot of triple-As in my insulin pump and meter, so the Double-As are off my radar scope!)

Whoops guess I should have checked before posting...

This video is a hoax.

We have not found any evidence of any 6-volt batteries that have any AA cells inside, much more 32 of them.

Wow! Sure was impressive while it lasted!

I'd forgotten about that rumor. I fell for it and bought an Everyready Energizer lantern battery a few years ago and cut it open. Ended up with a ruined lantern battery and a lesson learned.
