A spyder softball team

Center is exactly where I would prefer to play (and usually have)-- so good choice! Center gets to help cover the left and the right-- and God knows the right needs plenty of help....:D. The left can obviously hold their own.....

Next.

:roflblack:
I'm setting the batting line up, are you also a switch hitter. I've been told that, just confirming. Also my outfielders have been complaining that you have no range to the right so I may have to switch you, but we'll see how you do.

I wanna be first base, not the player, but the base. I get walked on all the time at work, so I am used to it. Plus, I can trip the other team. :2thumbs:

I'm starting to worry about your 'coaching' abilities. Any decent DH is a switch-hitter.... not that there's anything wrong with that.....:roflblack:

Left is in great hands - So I'll just keep covering center and right because right has a habit of dropping the ball......

Seth O would be great at first-- need someone tough as nails and not afraid to play..... and he's just about as fast as Doc....;)

Someguy can be the team mascot--- the crazy tie-dye hair and shirt guy!

Forrest would be great at third.. if anyone manages to get past second-- they ain't gonna get past Forrest...

HEADS UP

Hey if you need some extra excitement i can do a real good impression of a Left handed
Ryne Duren.

Team owner here, sorry been out talking trading a few players. Magic's the coach, but he's busy now. I told him to keep you lit up, so I could keep an I on you, you know, trade talks. I would still like to try you on third cause your so far left nothing could get by you down the line. The only problem now is that the Pres. is talking points to Tiger in the stands there and I don't think you could concentrate. Seth would be great at any position, big range in either direction. Seth I need a good shortstop. So I got left, right, and center fielders, catcher, pitcher, 1st, 2nd, short, but I need a third basemen, Ok Forrest you get the nod. I got a DH and a pinch runners, Waterboy, Beerboy, a first base, and a mascot. No batboy or bullpin, have to work on that.:chat:

I'm working on a batting lineup and he is what I have so far. Kim will be lead off. (Lou told me she good getting on):ohyea: Fly up second cause he has a way of sneaking to second base. (pictures in cowtown prove that):yikes:Batting third will be Seth. ( lightning fast on the bases)Batting fourth and our DH will be Lou. ( Kim tells me he swings a big bat)Finish the rest of the lineup tomorrow, stay tuned, More comic relief to come.

So who's on first? You moved Seth to Short Stop (ya just had to go there didn't ya....:D)...but he's still taller than that girl you wanted---:D so 1st is open. I say put doc there--- he'll stay on first regardless of its condition (but expect it to be LOUD and possibly illegal ;)) , and no matter who comes running up on him--- the man has no fear-- well-- except the occasional fear of being one of Dr. Mengele's Spyder-patients....:roflblack:

And truck 85.... we want beer brought out to us on the field-- so you might want to get an assistant and a 3-wheeled golf cart-- with 2 wheels in the front of course:thumbup:.

In honor of Irish - Smithwick's will be the official team beer (none of that lite beer crap allowed....;)).

First game should be in Chicago during the BRP event. Since Spydergirl can't make it---rnet and roadhammer will have to take turns catching. This shouldn't be a problem since they did this while playing for the Arndt's company softball team years ago.

PLAY BALL!

The lineup sounds good so far rnet, great choices. :2thumbs: Since we can field 10 players in this league, you might want to stick the fly in short left before you get a chance to trade him, however....That way we can always have someone to back up everything that's sure to go over his head.......Having the fly in the 2 spot at the plate is a good choice, too. If he does sneak 2nd again, though, maybe you should pull him for a pinch runner. You know he won't listen to direction from his base coach, and there is no way you can trust him to do what's best for the team on that side of the field......Maybe we can use dltang as the pinch runner, she's already proven that she's way faster than him.....:roflblack:
:D
All good ideas, changes made. Now we need someone that can go either way . OOOps better restate that. Someone that has range in any direction with a strong arm for center field. See Fly I listen when someone has good ideas.

Back to the line up, Forrest you get the nod for the 5th spot in the line up. That's back to back power and enough to really shake up the other team. Roadhammer your on deck. Pitchers generally bat last, but I think you need to go for a walk. To many flies in the dugout and I don't need my pitcher getting peeved. Mike, seventh is your slot and we need a home run here so you can tri-glide around the bases. Got to check who's left on the rooster.
