• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ARtraveler

R.I.P. Dwayne
May 3 will mark 11 years to the day that Linda and I first met.

She moved to AR with me from AK in May of 2019.

After 10 plus years of being together, we have both decided to "officially" tie the knot.

Saturday, April 30, will be THE DAY. :firstplace:

We are going to have a small church wedding and share the day with our new AR friends.

She has been a wonderful companion the whole time we have been together. We have only had two or three disagreements over that whole time. They were solved within 24 hours. We have never said harsh words to each other during that time. IMO, she is a keeper.

We both wanted to share our GOOD NEWS with all our SpyderLover friends. She does not post much, but is "akspyderlady" on the site.

Congratulations. No need to rush into anything as serious as marriage is there? Wish you continued happiness!

You took the time to make certain it will work. That worked for us too. Have a long and happy honeymoon - may it las for many decades.
BTW; There are two ways to handle a disagreement with a woman. Neither works.

I disagree with Ricz, there are three ways to deal with a disagreement with a woman and only one of them work, concede early and often. That may not bring an end to the argument but will speed you toward resolution. Anyway, congratulations to ARtraveler. I am blessed by being married to a wonderful woman, 30 years my junior but she is the greatest. Hope your relationship is that good also. Congratulations.

Congratulations! But anytime I hear someone announcing that they are getting married, I have to impart my Dad's words of wisdom: "Son, there are two kinds of men in this world. Smart Men --- and Married Men!"

Mom and Dad are in their 90's and have been married for 74 years I think. I'm approaching 30 yrs. Good Luck!

Congratulations

Congratulations to you both. It was nice to meet and talk to you and Linda at the Hot Springs Rally in 2021. Hope to see you again on the road.
My wife and I meet in April of 84 and married in August of 84. We will celebrate 38 years of marriage in August of this year. Sometime you just know
when she is the right one.:firstplace:
Wishing you and Linda many years of happiness to come.
Artie

Common interests are great. But a little alone time makes those together times a little more special.
Congrats!

My wife and I are approaching 40 years, this fall. :shemademe_smilie:

I deleted five off topic posts, including one of mine. There are no infractions, or anything like that. Consider it a free pass from the Moderators.

My intent was to announce the event to my friends on Spyderlovers. I still consider all of the above my friends.
