• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here is a sneak preview (some garage shots) of my baby Charlotte. Hope to get some decent weather in San Francisco this weekend for some stunning shots of her by the Golden Gate Bridge. Let me all know what you think!

reply, Hi Spydergirl.

The :spyder:LOOKS great, can I ask you how long have you been rideing and is it your 1st bike. I have 650 on mine, and its in the shop for the 1st service. I miss going to the garage just to look at it:(

I had a Nighthawk 650 as my first bike, of course I couldn't ride it -- sat up too high for me. So I got (and still have) a Rebel 250. I also had (and traded in for the Spyder) a purple 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic. I miss the Cobra pipes on that baby! I never rode a two wheeler as much as I have ridden the Spyder. Just rolled over to 8500 today and I have LOVED every mile!

Paint the fenders and saddlebags red and you have a winner.
As is, it reminds me of the Corbin sample Spyder.
Just my 2 cents.

Your Spyder looks good in the silver & red quite appropriate for the Holidays

Maybe you and any others can join a few of us for a ride on Sunday 11/30 for any Bay Area Spyders. We are meeting at 11:00 a.m. in Mill Valley at the In-N-Out Burgers at 798 Redwood Hwy. It looks to be a beautiful day here in the Bay Area. Check the previous post.

LOOKING GOOD!! is that the panel's that were for sale and trade? and if not who painted approx price? ,and and are you getting the rest of silver done?

I had the red fenders but decided I liked them silver to match the bags which were already silver and were going to cost me a fortune to get painted. I also thought it might be too much red and I really love the tri-tone look. And it doesn't have the yellow on it like the Corbin Spyder. The two-tone look is so over-done if you ask me. :)

Yes, these were the panels that were for sale. I kept my front fenders and tail piece.

Hey Mike, sounds good. That'll be a good day for us to cruise down to SF for some photos. Count us in.

Yep, I will be there on Sunday...and yes that is Bruce, the boxer. I did notice your sticker. My wife wants one now! See you then!
