• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A serious (as serious as I can be anyway) affliction

I know we all have a little touch of the "Spring Fever" :gaah::banghead:

What are you doing to deal with it?:dontknow:

PMS really stinks; doesn't it? :gaah:
Parked Motorcycle Syndrome...

Hang out in here and read about our good friends down South who can still ride...
Oh! Shopping for farkles also helps!

I'm shoveling snow. If you are cold enough, and working hard enough, you don't think about Spring...and when you go into the house and collapse after you are done, all you can do is dream about it. :roflblack:

Spring Fever is killing me. I hate to wish my life away, but I am ready to ride. The way this winter in looking I wont be out and about until April 1. Winter has been long and cold this year. Going to have to take up ice fishing again !!! Trying to talk my wife into going to Spyderfest 2013. 20 hour drive from up here, but sounds like a good time. Thankful for websites like this.

Watched SNOWTRAX yesterday afternoon on great snowmobiling places in Canada. Don't know where you are located in Canada although snowmobiling seems like a good winter replacement for the temporary SPYDER BLUES!

Apology In Order?

Gee Guys, you are making me feel guilty.NOT!! It was in the high 40's this morning (BRRR) but its in the mid 70's now (AHH). Sorry, I've got to go. There's a Spyder in the garage that wants to go to the beach. Oh yeah, I've lived on the coast of Florida over 55 years and have survived unscathed from many hurricanes. Lived about 10 years when I was young in the mid west and lost two homes to tornados. Go figure.

My cure for spring fever is to visit SL often.

The signs of spring are coming though. We only had an inch of snow last night. The temps are in the mid twenties. The days are lengthening by almost 6 minutes each day (40 minutes a week or so). The sun is now high enough in the sky to poke its head over the local mountain range. I now have sun coming through the windows. Its also still light when the news comes on at 6:00 PM.

I am waiting a little longer to install the new seat and get the :ani29:,s polished up for their spring debut. I also have a paint my :spyder2: project in the works. We will see how that turns out.

Did you consider giving Pete at Powersportwraps.com a call? He could probably "vinyl you up" some parts to cover the panels...

I know that he's done panels for others, and if you don't like it; it ain't permanent!
Just a thought...
Have a great weekend up there!

There is no escaping the Florida heat in the summer though. I think Tennessee/North Carolina is the "sweet spot"

Took a ride to the Fort Pierce inlet and then along the beach today I had a Spyder from Canada in front of me, they know where the warm weather is !
