• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A Pleasant Surprise at my Dealer

I took my wife's 08 SM5 in for a front end alignment (just got new front tires) and had them change the clutch fluid and coolant while it was there. We dropped it off on Thursday evening and it was ready to go Saturday evening. On top of the quick turn around, we got out the door for $430. I didn't know what the cost was going to be, but I would have bet money it was going to be way more than that (labor is $110/hr). Although I couldn't really tell, other than the tire wear, the front end was way out of alignment.

On a side note, on the way to the dealer for the drop off, the front end started shaking so much at 50mph that the bike went into limp mode. At first they said it was the Ride-On :lecturef_smilie:. Apparently, when I told the tire guy to put 18psi in the front tires, he thought that meant 28psi. My dealer said that this pressure coupled with the bad alignment and rough road was the problem. All is well now.

:2thumbs: Glad to hear that the servicing was quick and relatively painless... (Relatively...)
Good thing that the tire pressure issue popped up when it did so that they could catch it at the same time!
