A perfect cooler for day trips...

It appears that the Frunk liner must first be removed to get it to fit that nicely; right or wrong ?

And the make clearly shows in the video but a model number or scan code or dimensions would be helpful.

Did not remove anything. The Ozark Trail cooler is 13" wide, 12" tall and front to back 10". The plastic insert is removable but I elect to leave it in. It's called a 24 can cooler.

Thanks for the additional information.
Worth a shot. WalMart will take it back if it won't work in mine.

So, let me ask the question a bit differently:
Does your Spyder HAVE a felt-like liner in the Frunk ?

Can't really tell from the video.

P.S. For anybody else looking, the WalMart web site can't seem to "find" this item using only the part number......even though when you DO find it, that number is right there. The current production seems to be blue.

The bike appears to be a base model RT (no fog lights). Therefore, there is no felt-like liner in the frunk.

I have been using one of those coolers for a frunk bag for a couple of years. When I am on a trip I pack items that I want to use each night in it. I also use it as a day pack for drinks or personal items that are taken out after a stop. Mine is holding up well.

When I'm on a travel I have the frunk loaded with stuff. The cooler sits on my back seat with a home made strap holding it on the passenger hand grips. With one of those neck pillows held in place by the cooler carry strap it's a great back rest. You even get a cooling effect from the ice in the box.

SMALL COOLER BAG

Thanks for this info ............. If anyone is interested in a small bag that will keep ice for over 24 hrs ( for $45.00 +/- ) google AO coolers ...... and read what tests have been done on them ...... Home Depot sells a 12 pack canvas ( it will be a tight fit but doable because it will compress slightly to fit - imho ) ...model for $45.00 +/- ............ I'm just bought one ...... Mike

I use a 12 volt cooler

I have a cooler that plugs into the bike and stays cool or warm(selector switch). Works great for very long trips. Strap it to rear seat(needs airflow for the compressor). No soggy sandwiches from melting ice.

Same cooler different color

I converted my trailer hitch from a "ball" hitch to a standard receiver hitch. Built a small rack, all alum. Fits great and doesn't tie up any storage space.

I own two different AO Coolers and LOVE them. Basically leak free and they keep ice for more than just a day trip. None of the ones I own however fit any compartment of the Spyder very well so I'm VERY interested in the Home Depot purchase you speak of. Can you provide dimensions and ideally a HD SKU please? I'm needing something that holds ice for more than just a day so something of AO caliber or better is of great interest to me.
I prefer something of the 24 can variety that makes good use of (max out) the frunk space. A cooler of this size will usually do me for a weekend of camping. IMO, ideal dimensions would be 17” (Tall) x 10” x 12”.

HUGE thanks!

Any of their 24 pack ( soft side ) are the EXACT diminutions you want ….. however they all are 17" long ….Not tall …. so they would fit, but you would have to stand it up in the frunk, and remove it to open it..... I don't see this as an issue ….. any leakage when transporting it would just go the bottom of the FRUNK and then drain out ….. I drilled small holes in the bottom corners of my Frunk, so me it wouldn't be an issue …… hope this helps …… Go to their web site, they list all theor coolers …. Mike

Joel the Biker, just came across you request. I believe it's Oxford blue. Sorry I didn't see your post till now.

Am I missing something ?? The Ozark Trail is a soft sided cooler. It should squish into just about any space. The only variables are going to be how many cans and how much ice you stuff into it.

Great Cooler Buy Alert!!

FYI,
I was just at Fred Meyer and found the perfect back pack cooler that fits in the side cases of my 2020 Spyder RT Ltd! This and a couple of cold packs save the Frunk and Top Box for other bulkier items! $11.99 each out the door!
