A New Spyder?

I came across this guy on Plum Island, MA. He is an eccentric inventor well known on the island.
The trike is powered by 4 Gel Cells and has a top speed of 35 mph. The motor is contained in the
rear wheel. It has a hydraulic disk brake and a vicegrip for a throttle.

The guy, Hans by name, is quite a fellow. A company that he started invented the VGA monitor, back in the day. It made him a millionaire but he has spent it all on his crazy inventions. He has a flower pot that produces electrical energy from microbial activity in the soil. Supposed to last for 20 years.
