• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A new Spyder rider is born

Wife possibly having an affair with my Spyder

Funny thing happen to me tonight. After I gave my wife a ride on the back of my Spyder, only in 1st and 2nd gear. (in our neigborhood)
I asked her if she wanted to try it, she's never rode a motorcycle in her life. (but rode a snowmobile once in Canada) I showed her wear the brake was, and how to work the SE-5 shifter. In under 10 seconds she drove off wearing our kids bike helmet, around or neighborhood she drove and drove and drove, 10 minutes later she comes back with a big smile. The Spyder was smiling too...:f_spider:
I didn't say a word, she gets off the bike says thats cool, and walks away... I just stood there, and still didn't say a word. Later on that evening while working on a new grill mod for the bike, she comes back out into the garage and starts up a conversation about the Spyder.
Should I be concerned? I'm afraid to confront her about her experience, this may end up costing me dearly... :yikes:

:doorag:

Cool Stuff! Better make some room in the garage !

Only thing better than having 1 Spyder----- owning TWO !

Well after my wife has spent the last year and a half on the back of
of our:spyder2: and 8 thousand miles later she took the local MSF
course and passed.
Today I kicked her out of the nest and she is ryding the first time
by herself.
She stopped by the house after a short ryde and it was priceless
to see the smile on her face and the excitement in her eyes:thumbup:
She is now on the way to the butcher to pick up steaks to bbq tonight.
(30 mile loop)
I must say that I'm a little nervous, but that will pass.
Looks like another Spyder is in our future if I ever want to get my Spyder
Back:thumbup:

I have the same "problem" right now. We are looking for a temporary fix for the dilemma, possibly either a 85 or a 02 Vmax for me till some more funds become available.

I m rather excited about it,too. I havent been on two wheels for 7 years or so. :D

Right now I'm safe, but soon I'll have little opportunity to ride my wife's Spyder. She's got the itch real bad. I bought it for her, so it's hers to ride when she wants.

I've got the Goldwing & will always have one, but I see a 2nd Spyder in our future sooner rather than later.

Yeah well it happns. Since I got the spyder I haven't really been on the back of my husband's GW and he's complaining. He said he got the GW for our comfort, but every chance we get to ride, I'm on the spyder. I guess he's feeling lonely. What are ya gonna do?
