• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A little info please - can the showchrome armrests be locked?

Anybody that has the showchrome arm rests that swivel out...can they be locked so they dont swivel? My wife feels better if they are locked in position. Thanks in advance

I think my passenger would also like a bit more “side by side” support. In her case I think the actual armrest is secondary to the feeling of security. The factory arm rest look as if they are pretty solid but if the Showchrome armrest can somewhat lock into position then they would be a consideration.

I looked at them, but did not like the possibility that could work loose and flop around. I got the BRP armrests and my co-rider likes them a lot. Expensive, but rock solid.

I put ridged plastic/silicone washers (Ace Hardware) on the hinges and tighten them down real tight. It made the arm rest ridged to move back and forth. Just enough resistance to make the better half fell more secure.
